Abstract

Abstract.Hamartomas are the most common benign pulmonary tumors. They most often contain either chondromatous or lipomatous tissues. Thus, they show typical radiological findings which help to make a preoperative diagnosis of this benign tumor. We present a very rare case of a pulmonary hamartoma with atypical radiologic and histologic findings. Histological examination revealed the lesion to be an adenoleiomyomatous hamartoma.
