To the editor: The article “Primary Aldosteronism” by Weinberger and colleagues (1) raised questions on the efficacy and reliability of adrenal scintiscanning procedures. We wish to comment on the cases referenced in that article that were imaged by our group and on our further experience with these procedures.
Four patients were seen at the University of Michigan Medical Center before the radiopharmaceutical was available at Indiana University.
