Abstract

According to this study:For children and adolescents who have common psychiatric disorders, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and serotonin–norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors can be helpful, but the benefits are small and differ significantly, depending on the disorder.Adverse effects are common and can be severe.
