Effect of pyridinolcarbamate on platelet aggregation
ADP-induced platelet aggregation, assessed by employing a microscopic method, was enhanced by Intravenous Injection of 1.0 μ g/kg adrenalin in rabbits Such a change in platelet aggregation by adrenalin was prevented by oral pretreatment with pyridinolcarbamate (25 mg/kg). Pyridinolcarbamate itself did not affect the ADP-induced platelet aggregation.
Pyridinolcarbamate did not appear to affect plasma or platelets per se. It is suggested that platelet Interaction with adrenalin might be affected by pyridinolcarbamate.
