Abstract

A study by S. C. Hayes et al (1978) indicates that between 1968 and 1977 there has been a decline in research using analog behaviors or settings, an increase in simple reliability analysis, and decreased interest in conceptually oriented research. These data support S. M. Dietz's (see record 1979-24124-001) contention that applied psychology has become more technological and less scientific.
