Breakthroughs in cancer therapy generally occur with the development of new anticancer drug and new treatments. Clinical trials to assess the safety and efficacy of new drugs or treatments are critical to marketing approval. In Japan, the activation and internationalization of clinical trials will maintain and advance the already high medical level of us. As one result of these efforts, participation in global trials and simultaneous early-phase development have become a reality. The need to monitor by visit using eCRF, respond rapidly to adverse events, and participate in global conferences with overseas investigators has emphasized the increasing demands on CRC to increase their medical knowledge and language skills. Among those advanced procedures, we expect CRC to continue maintaining advanced communication abilities. Among test subjects, medical doctors, and clinical trial clients, the ability to communicate is indispensable in experiencing the fascination of developing a cancer treatment. Through this symposium, we hope to share problematic points and deepen our understanding, thereby leading to further activation and internationalization of clinical trials.
