SUMMARYRECENT EVIDENCE SUGGESTS THAT AGILITY IS A TRAINABLE MOTOR SKILL THAT CAN BE ACQUIRED THROUGH PROPER PROGRESSIVE PRACTICE. THIS PAPER IDENTIFIES AND DISCUSSES PERTINENT CONCEPTS IN MOTOR LEARNING TO ASSIST ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE COACHES WITH THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN EFFECTIVE AGILITY PROGRAM FOR EXPERIENCED OR TRAINED INDIVIDUALS.
