Abstract

In 2016 we investigated what might happen if the NHS was the subject of a cybercrime attack. Our report warned that hospitals would be crippled, and experts said it wasn't a question of ‘if’ - but, rather, ‘when’. Six months later, the feared attack happened. Anna Sayburn returns to talk to some of those in the eye of the storm about what happened, and whether lessons can be learnt.
