Abstract

Presents the results of a questionnaire sent to the heads of Canadian psychology and educational psychology departments to determine the availability of courses offered in the psychology of consciousness. Findings from 42 departments show that when it is covered, consciousness is usually dealt with incidentally. Few departments offer regular courses exclusively in the psychology of consciousness. Results suggest neglect of a fundamental aspect of human functioning. (French summary) (12 ref) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2007 APA, all rights reserved)
