Abstract

The purpose of this lesson is to provide an overview of the two primary indications for its use, which are: (1) for characterization of no palpable, mammographically indeterminate masses as fluid-filled or solid, and (2) for evaluation and characterization of palpable “masses,” particularly those not identified on x-ray mammography.
