Abstract

Angiosarcoma is a rare, highly malignant tumor of endothelial cells, and it accounts for 0.05% of all primary malignancies of the breast.1,2 Angiosarcoma has a worse prognosis than other sarcomas of the breast and can arise de novo (primary angiosarcoma) or after treatment for breast carcinoma (secondary).3–5
