Abstract

The objectives of this article are: (1) to review various types of knee arthroplasties; (2) to discuss the normal postoperative appearance of knee arthroplasty on conventional radiographs and other imaging modalities; (3) to recognize the radiologic findings related to the most frequent complications of knee arthroplasties; and (4) to understand the value of various imaging modalities in the evaluation of knee pain in a patient with a knee arthroplasty.
