The evaluation included the technological influence on the management of equipment support. In addition, the research team studied nursing and patient care and identified areas of asset-tracking technology impact. Lastly, the authors sought to evaluate financial effects of the radiofrequency identification system, including an evaluation of the rate of return on investment, patient billing, and other related fiscal features.
