Abstract

Although esophageal disease is common in patients' with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), esophageal neoplasms have rarely been described. Herein we report the case of a patient with AIDS and esophageal symptoms who was found to have adenocarcinoma of the esophagus associated with Barrett's esophagus.
