Wandering spleen is a rare condition which can be diagnosed with facility by conventional nuclear medicine imaging techniques.1 We present one case in which generalized lymphosarcoma involving a wandering spleen was proved by percutaneous aspiration biopsy. Evaluation of a liver-spleen scan in which the normal splenic image is not definitely seen should include extension of the scan field to include the lower abdomen, because of the possibility of ectopic splenic position.
