Abstract

There was renal uptake of 99 mTc-sulfur colloid in liver-spleen studies performed on three liver transplant patients. Unlike all previously reported patients, none was in congestive heart failure. The mechanism of this uptake is unknown, but in our three patients it did not correlate with hepatic or renal function.
