Owl's Eye Appearance of a Thyroid Cyst

A scintigraphic “owl's eye” sign has been described in benign autonomous nodules and papillary carcinoma of the thyroid gland. In this case, a thyroid cyst produced a striking “owl's eye” appearance on a Tc-99m pertechnetate thyroid scan.
