Abstract

Tumoral calcinosis is a rare family disorder characterized by massive periarticular calcification deposits of the soft tissue. Although radiographic findings of tumoral calcinosis are recognized, there were very scant publications of scintigraphic imaging of the disease. We present here the images of FDG PET/CT and bone scintigraphy in a patient with idiopathic tumoral calcinosis, which are unique in the locations of the lesions and distribution of abnormal uptake.
