A soft-tissue lesion in the left nasal cavity was found on a 70-year-old man, which was pathologically proved to be an intestinal-type adenocarcinoma (ITAC) by biopsy. 18F-FDG PET/CT scan was performed to exclude the possibilities of metastasis from the other primary adenocarcinomas, but the nasal tumor was found to be the only lesion with 18F-FDG avidity. The primary ITAC in the nasal cavity was diagnosed, and it was resected successfully.
