Abstract

A 52-year-old man underwent 68Ga DOTATOC PET/CT scan for postsurgical staging of a neuroendocrine tumor of the lung. The PET images showed a single focus of increased activity in a soft tissue nodule located posteriorly to a cervical vertebra. Surgical removal of the lesion led to the histological diagnosis of retiform hemangioendothelioma.
