Abstract

TENIS (thyroglobulin elevation with negative iodine scintigraphy) syndrome in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma is not a rare finding. In such patients, 18F-FDG PET/CT can help in disease evaluation. RGD tripeptide, used for imaging angiogenesis, may also help in disease detection in patients with negative radioiodine whole-body scan. We present 1 such case in whom 68Ga-RGD tripeptide imaging was helpful in disease detection in the setting of negative radioiodine whole-body scan.
