Abstract

New foci of psychological investigations of psychosis include psychological interventions with psychosis, studies of delusions, and research into the social and emotional aspects of psychosis. The subjective creation of meaning for psychotic experience is being increasingly considered as important, as is the longitudinal investigation of unstable symptoms and cognitive functioning.
