Partial reinforcement of a discriminative response in the turtle

22 turtles (Pseudemys scripta troostii) were divided into a 100% and 50% reinforcement group. They were trained in a simple black-white discrimination problem followed by extinction of the learned response. Significant differences were found (p < .01).
