Abstract

22 turtles (Pseudemys scripta troostii) were divided into a 100% and 50% reinforcement group. They were trained in a simple black-white discrimination problem followed by extinction of the learned response. Significant differences were found (p < .01). Extinction curves for the 2 groups demonstrated rather typical partial reinforcement effects. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)
