Abstract

Stimulation of the lateral hypothalamus in conjunction with administration of amphetamine resulted in a cancellation of the normal anorexic effect of the drug. 8 rats ate the same quantity of food with the drug plus stimulation as under conditions of electrical stimulation alone.
