Abstract

Environmentally sensitive carriers have been designed for metronomic Paclitaxel (PAX) delivery to tumors. PAX has been successfully conjugated to a diblock copolymer using different chemically labile hydrozone linkers to control its release rate under low pH conditions. These diblock copolymers are being characterized using NMR to determine the degree and location of substitution. These carriers are currently being evaluated to determine their potential for metronomic PAX delivery.
