Increased awareness of ocular involvement in systemic infection will enable ophthalmologists to provide early detection of disease. With the rising prevalence of infectious illnesses, new and classic ocular presentations of these diseases are reported. This article discusses the latest ophthalmic findings in Lyme disease, Hansen's disease, fungal infection in immunocompetent hosts, toxoplasmosis, acne rosacea, and tuberculosis.
