It is not in Nature's plan to be born early and there is no easy remedy.


A baby spends nine wonderful months in her mother's womb.


That womb, that mother, is much more than an iron lung, an intravenous drip, an oxygenation monitor, a neonatal dialysis machine.


The mother and child communicate but how they do so is simply and absolutely not known.


There is a beautiful intimacy and any interference with this bond should happen only with immense humility, with infinite gentleness and delicacy, and with the awe, respect, and sense of responsibility with which we witness any divine connection [1].
