Measurement of Tumor Thickness As a Prognostic Tool in Primary Malignant Melanoma of the Skin

Abstract

A clinicopathological study of 150 patients with primary malignant melanoma of the skin is presented. Information concerning the site, type, depth of invasion and thickness of the tumor is reported. The value of tumor thickness in assessing prognosis is emphasized.
