Abstract

A growing consensus suggests that the relationship between mental illness and behavioural disturbances on the one hand, and the various psychosocial and biological factors resulting in learning disabilities on the other, can only be explained by a broad multifaceted theoretical approach.A main concern of research is the interaction between biological and psychosocial factors. A corresponding tendency is found in both diagnostic and treatment issues, in addition to the planning of services.
