This is the third in a series of four self-learning modules that review late effects associated with cancer therapy. The focus of this module is to acquaint the reader with the late effects of cancer therapy on the following systems: endocrine, nervous, immunologic, and hematologic. This module will highlight associated risk factors and cancer treatments, common signs and symptoms, general medical management, and nursing interventions. The next module will address the impact of late effects of cancer therapy on the following: integumentary system, second malignancies, and psychosocial effects.
