Abstract
Two men with osseous infections in a distal extremity were noted to have uptake of Tc-99m HMPAO autologous WBC not only in the affected site, but in the ipsilateral lymph nodes in the groin as well (and in one case there was further inward extension). In addition to reports on occasional lymph node uptake of In-111 oxine WBC, the phenomenon can occur with WBC carrying the Tc-99m HMPAO label.
