Malignant colojejunal fistula: Case report and review of malignant coloenteric fistula

Abstract

A patient with a malignant colojejunal fistula with associated severe weight loss and diarrhea is described. To the authors' knowledge, this paper represents the second reported case of this type of malignant fistula. A discussion of the pathogenesis and treatment of this rather unique fistula and a review of malignant coloenteric fistulas in general are presented.
