Retinal detachment is the most serious ocular manifestation of Marfan’s syndrome (MFS). It is a major cause of visual loss in these patients and has been associated with a poor prognosis. The significant developments in surgical instrumentation and techniques over the last decades have improved visual outcomes in these cases.
