CT Scanning for the Follow-Up of Corticosteroid Treatment of Primary Retroperitoneal Fibrosis

Abstract

Two cases of retroperitoneal fibrosis are reported. In both cases ureterolysis was performed and prednisone was given postoperatively. Follow-up computed tomography revealed that the retroperitoneal mass decreased in size, especially during the first year of corticosteroid therapy.
