Crohn’s Disease in a Patient with Multiple Sclerosis

Abstract

We report the occurrence of Crohn’s disease in a patient with well-established multiple sclerosis. A relationship between inflammatory bowel disease and multiple sclerosis is supported by a higher than expected coexistence of these diseases among families and individuals, as well as similar accepted and proposed mechanisms of pathogenesis and therapy.
