Abstract
The RN shopping for baccalaureate education enters a buyer's market. That appears to be a positive situation, but buyer beware … a number of pitfalls mark the educational landscape. This article offers important insights regarding the characteristics of RN students and the baccalaureate programs from which they choose. Faculty members in a position to counsel such students (particularly staff development educators who have constant contact with associate degree and diploma graduates) will find the information both provocative and useful.
