Martha Rogers' Model in Associate Degree Education

Abstract

This article describes the first associate degree nursing program in the country to adopt Martha Rogers' science of unitary humans as the conceptual model for the program. The authors discuss the rationale for choosing the model, the curriculum design, the special challenges to implementation, and student'and faculty reactions to the model.
