To The Editors:
Topical imiquimod (Aldara) 5% cream was used to treat molluscum contagiosum (MC) in three sisters. Two of the three sisters have partial T cell immunodeficiency as a result of incomplete reconstitution after bone marrow transplant in severe combined immunodeficiency. Child A has a moderately impaired T cell system and numerous molluscum lesions. Child B has a slightly impaired T cell system and a moderate number of molluscum lesions. Child C has a normal immune system and two small molluscum lesions.
