Abstract

The classic organisms associated with central nervous system infection in the neonate are herpes simplex, Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli, and Streptococcusagalactiae; we describe an unusual case of neonatal meningoencephalitis caused by Bacillus cereus.
