Two hundred lipomas are removed each year in our outpatient operating theater. Most of them are small, weighing less than 10 gm. Occasionally, larger lipomas, up to 200 gm, are encountered. Considering the fact that this is one of the most common mesenchymal tumors, very large tumors are extremely rare. We describe two cases of gigantic lipomas weighing 5070 and 4000 gm. To the best of our knowledge, these are the largest lipomas ever described.
