Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Programs

The following table is based on a written survey distributed to all known Pediatric Emergency Medicine Directors. Seventy-six surveys were sent out, with 56 responses received. The distribution list was compiled from previous years' surveys (Pediatric Emergency Care); participants in the 2003 Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship match; attendees at PEM Fellowship Directors meeting in New Orleans, LA, November, 2003; fellowship listing for PEM in Journal of Pediatrics 2003; and anyone showing an interest in starting a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship. However, because of the rapid expansion in the number of programs, it is likely that there will be inadvertent omissions or inaccuracies. We encourage prospective applicants to monitor the Letters to the Editor section of Pediatric Emergency Care for updated information as it becomes available.
Although the information in the table is designed as a quick reference, space limitations do not permit publication of complete details for each program. Applicants are encouraged to contact program directors for more complete information about programs of interest.
