SummaryA personality study of 100 women with cancer of the cervix was carried out and the findings compared with a similar study of women with cancer at other sites. A higher proportion of severe personality maladjustment of a particular kind was found in those with cancer of the cervix, than in the women with cancer at other sites.
SummaryThis finding deserves further observation and documentation. It is possible that this knowledge can be useful in experimental carcinogenesis.
