We read with great interest the article by Hidayet et al “The results of intravitreal bevacizumab injections for persistent neovascularization in proliferative retinopathy after photocoagulation therapy.”1 We value the authors for the novel method used for assessing the size of the neovascularization (NV) by marking out the area on a red free photograph and shading it blue. Also, the concept of taking the final area in pixels is extremely accurate and objective. But certain issues in this article need more clarity:
