Abstract

SUMMARY

Methotrexate given i.v. followed by large doses of citrovorum factor can modify the allograft reaction and prolongation of renal function can be obtained. Reversal of the allograft reaction has been shown. The drug is, however, extremely toxic in spite of the use of the citrovorum factor and no successful drug schedule was found. White cell depression, however, did not occur.
