Controversy is often a source of progress in medicine, but this exchange of views regarding the management of intracranial aneurysms is more passionate than I expected. The confident tone of Dr. Cross reflects his opinion that time is on the side of radiologists and that invasive neuroradiology will soon be the only reasonable choice for these patients. In distinction, Dr. Chicoine is more conservative and less opinionated, calling for a more moderate team approach.
