Unusual Applications of the Pediatric Hip Osteotomy Plate

Abstract

In very distal extraarticular humerus fractures, it can be difficult to get enough purchase of the small articular fragment with conventional screws and plates. The pediatric hip osteotomy plate has been used in such instances of rare acute fractures in the adult as well as in nonunions.
