Abstract
Abstract
We describe a case of concomitant Vibrio fluvialis and V. alginolyticus bacteremia in a patient on hemodialysis via indwelling vascular catheter after swimming in seawater, with subsequent recurrences of V. alginolyticus bacteremia that resolved with catheter removal. This is, to our knowledge, the first report of this type of bacteremia.
