Abstract
The many behavioral problems extant in patients with Prader-Willi syndrome are reviewed in this paper. The needs of this particular population of individuals are reviewed as well, together with a number of the behavioral and psychotherapeutic approaches that we have found useful in treating patients with the syndrome at the Children's Institute in Pittsburgh. Psychopharmacological treatments and their usefulness are often an integral part of the treatment, and some of the different medicines are reviewed. The importance of a cominbation of treatment modalities for optimizing adjustment to the disorder is emphasized.▪
