If you were one of the lucky 2,100 plus attendees at the 4th Joint Clinical Conference at the Adam’s Mark in Denver, CO, between April 8 and 12, 2003, you know what we mean when we say how energizing conferences can be. More than 900 nurses were in attendance, most of them either HPNA members and/or NBCHPN® certified. Some of the photos reveal the great fun had by all.
During the past few years, you have been telling us through evaluations, telephone calls, e-mails, personal contacts, and letters that you want and need a greater concentration of clinical content at your conference. In response to your recurring requests, HPNA has partnered with the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) to meet your needs. The planning committee for 2004 is well underway reviewing the submitted proposals in preparation for the January 21-25, 2004, event to be held at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, AZ. Conferences are enriched by your attendance. Imagine the energy you would feel if 1,000 nurses were in attendance. Take advantage of the early registration cost breaks.
