Bilateral Dehiscence of Both Superior and Posterior Semicircular Canals
Leonardo Manzari; Giovanni Carlo Modugno
Excerpt
We present the imaging computed tomography (CT) studies of a 53-year-old man referred to our tertiary otoneurologic referral center with bilateral hearing loss, unsteadiness, tinnitus, and ear autophony without rotatory vertigo. He had experienced these symptoms for 20 years and had no previous history of head trauma.
Computed tomographic scan of the temporal bones reformatted in the Poschl and Stenvers views showed bilateral dehiscence of the superior and posterior semicircular canals.
